ABOUT US
Friends of Simon Hart is a non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness about Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA), a life-threatening complication of diabetes. Founded in memory of Simon Hart—a vibrant, compassionate, and brilliant young man whose life was tragically cut short by undiagnosed DKA—our mission is to ensure no other family endures the profound grief of losing a loved one to this preventable condition.
We believe education is the cornerstone of prevention. Through targeted programs, community outreach, and advocacy, we empower individuals and communities with the knowledge to recognize DKA’s warning signs and act swiftly to save lives. Driven by the passion and dedication of Simon’s family and friends, we are committed to transforming tragedy into hope, improving healthcare access, and supporting those affected by DKA.
