ABOUT US

Friends of Simon Hart is a non-profit organization that is committed to raising awareness about Diabetic Ketoacidosis (DKA). Our organization was founded in memory of Simon Hart, a wonderful, compassionate, and beautiful young man who lost his life to DKA. We do not want any other family to experience the tremendous pain and grief of losing a child.  We believe that education is the key to preventing deaths caused by DKA. Through our educational programs and community outreach, we work towards raising awareness and advocating for better healthcare for individuals. We are family and friends who are passionate and dedicated to making a difference. We hope that with the right education and resources, we can help prevent unnecessary deaths caused by DKA and improve the quality of life for individuals.
